1970's EVOLUTION OF LINDQUIST FORENSIC EXPERIENCE
BASIC FORENSIC TRAINING

In the early 1970’s all auditors were auditing. It allowed Lindquist to learn from experience, to learn from his mistakes. And at $38 per hour, Lindquist earned his fee during cross-examination. Working with prosecution taught him a lot about the investigative and interview process and report writing. Marketing to survive motivated Lindquist to make his first contribution to fraud knowledge in 1977 in a book entitled “Accounting as an Investigative Aid”. From his case experiences, Lindquist wrote under the following topics:

  • Forensic Accounting
  • Secret Commission
  • Bribery
  • Business Failure, is it Fraud?
  • Stock Market Manipulation
  • Shareholder Disputes
  • Management and Employee Defalcation
